Customer Success Architect

Location: USA - Remote

The security service edge (SSE) platform sits inline and inspects all traffic, seamlessly brokering connections based on identity and policy, while performing end-user experience monitoring. Thus, IT leaders are empowered to make hybrid work simple, digital experience a competitive advantage, and can ensure business data remains protected.

Position Summary

The Customer Success Architect (CSA) will lead the technical architecture design, deployment, and ongoing customer adoption activities for the Atmos platform.   Working in tandem with an Axis Customer Success Manager (CSM), the CSA is responsible for working with customers to deliver solutions based on best practices, provide configuration guidance, training, and solution deployment assistance.  In addition, the CSA will work as a team member with the CSM and account executive to identify use case expansion opportunities. 

We are looking for experienced security architects who possess the soft skills of leading projects with customers, together with broad experience in IT security technologies.


  • Help customers achieve successful outcomes by architecting, deploying, using, and adopting Atmos
  • Problem solving to help customers find the most effective solutions
  • Train customers on how to use solution
  • Deliver presentations and other deliverables to support customer requirements
  • Develop content to standardize and normalize approaches to solving common problems
  • Work with product management team to help drive product requirements based on customer needs and usage
  • Work with R&D to develop solutions that enhance the Atmos platform.
  • Mentor customer success team members
  • As required, work with support to help resolve customer issues

Required Skills

  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Consulting experience or technical project delivery skill
  • Experience with networking and network security - Firewalls, IPSEC, SSL-VPN, NAT, GRE
  • Experience with cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Experience with Linux - Ability to do network connectivity and permissions commands
  • Experience with containers - Docker, Kubernetes
  • Operational knowledge of networking protocols - understanding of the various layers, TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, TLS, HTTP/S
  • Experience with cloud security and permissions systems - VPC, Security Groups, IAM
  • Has worked with a range of security operations teams
  • Understanding of identity and access technologies - SSO, SAML Federated Identity, OAuth, OIDC, RBAC, Authentication
  • A passion for security technology and how it can be leveraged to enhance an organization’s security risk posture

Beneficial Experience

  • Knowledge of Zero Trust design principals and expereince with ZTNA technologies
  • Experience with endpoint security software - Antivirus, DLP, IPS, NAC, etc.
  • Experience with SWG, DLP, and CASB solutions
