Regional Vice President, Sales - US East

Axis Security is pioneering a game-changing approach to Zero Trust Network Access.  Axis Security’s Application Access Cloud makes application access amazingly simple. Built on a zero-trust approach, users are securely connected to apps, while avoiding the need for VPNs, VDI’s, agents, or appliances. 

 

Position Summary

The RVP of Sales will lead efforts around sales and adoption of the Axis Security solution in their assigned region, leading a team of full lifecycle sellers from discovery through negotiation, to post sale customer relationship management and upsell.

Responsibilities

  • Remove obstacles for sellers
  • Build a plan with sales leadership to meet and exceed quota
    • Prioritize/tier accounts, involve the right resources, leverage partners, etc.
  • Lead team to drive top of funnel pipeline
    • Relationships, outbound prospecting, conferences/events, etc.
  • Lead team to convert interest into closed business
    • SDR alignment, inbound leads, partner/VC referrals, etc.
  • Help build customer proposals, requirements, and respond to RFI/RFPs

 

Required Skills

  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Ability to gain customer commitment for POCs and demos
  • You have 3+ years of Sales Leadership experience
  • You have a 10+ year track record in an enterprise software B2B sales role exceeding revenue quotas, beating the competition and building a territory
  • You have a track record of leading teams to develop greenfield territories, adding net new logos in an Enterprise software role
  • You have an excellent work ethic, hunter mentality and have experience working at an early stage startup
  • You are comfortable presenting to C-Level executives and an IT security audience
  • You're experienced in sales methodology such as Force Management, MEDDPICC, Sandler and using Salesforce.com for forecasting

Beneficial Experience

  • Knowledge of the Zero Trust ecosystem and competitors
  • Experience with cloud security and permissions systems - IAM, VPC, Security Groups
  • Experience with security solutions - Firewalls, CASB, WAF, Vuln Scanning, AV/EDR, DLP, IPS, NAC, etc.
