Since
joining the U.S. Secret Service in 1976, Mr. Holmes has provided security for
the five U.S. Presidents and Vice Presidents, numerous foreign heads of state and
other dignitaries as mandated by U.S. law or Presidential order. His
assignments have taken him to 50 states and 40 foreign countries where he has
secured embassies, palaces, airports, offices, hotels and travel routes without
incident. |
| Mr.
Holmes was selected to serve on the Secret Service Counter Assault Team
(CAT), which provided an increased level of security, commensurate with
worldwide terrorist threats, for the President and Vice-President, during
their foreign and domestic travel. As CAT Team Leader, he supervised
the day-to-day training regimen and worldwide travel of a six-man special
operations team. |

Mr. Holmes was a
member of the prestigious Secret Service National Pistol Team for five years,
during which time he won three national and three international competitive
shooting titles and set six national handgun shooting records. |
